Position Summary:

  • The Paid Media Specialist serves first and foremost as a data analyst and optimizer. This role is responsible for the ongoing setup, management, optimizations and results of digital and social media campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, social media ads on various platforms, Google Ads, programmatic ads, paid search and remarketing.

  • The Paid Media Specialist works closely with the Digital and Social Strategists as well as the Search team to understand campaign data, hypothesize potential improvements and communicate and implement findings. In addition to the development and management of paid digital and social campaigns, this role will help monitor and track campaign budgets and performance and compose campaign performance reports for a designated account list. This role will also help manage timelines and QAs and is an integral part of the media department and agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Aggregates and visualizes data using reporting tools to derive insights for digital campaign reports. 
  • Comprehends and implements strategic marketing tactics. 
  • Consistently provides data analysis and insights to the team to improve campaign results. 
  • Develops and maintain budget sheets.  
  • Innovates reporting to consistently improve the deliverable. 
  • Manages billing and budgeting in STRATA.  
  • Manages digital media project timelines for set account list. 
  • Manages multiple projects and clients simultaneously.  
  • Manages the trafficking, testing and implementation of digital media campaigns.  
  • Monitors onsite metrics from campaign traffic in website analysis tools such as Google Analytics. 
  • Performs Target Audience research and offers insights. 
  • Performs UTM setup and implementation using provided template. 
  • Works daily in Google Ads, Meta Ads and other ad platforms to setup, QA and execute digital and social campaigns. 
  • Assists in setup and management of paid search campaigns. 
  • Supervises coordinators as needed. 
  • Assists Digital Strategist in setting KPIs for paid campaigns. 
  • Assists team in meeting digital media project timelines for set account list. 
  • Monitors live campaigns to ensure all elements are functioning properly within ad and website analytics platforms. 
  • Offers insightful and strategic optimization recommendations to the digital team based on campaign performance. 
  • Provides data to digital department for developing, implementing and maintaining media objectives, strategies and tactics. 
  • Aggregates and visualizes data using reporting tools to derive insights for digital campaign reports. 
  • Ensures that clear campaign timelines have been developed and deadlines are met across all Digital Media accounts. 

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field. 
  • 2+ years of digital media or agency experience preferred, but not required (relevant internship and coursework will be considered). 

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong organizational and quantitative/analytical skills. 
  • Must have extremely strong attention to detail.
  • Must have strong business writing and communication skills. 
  • Great attitude, desire to learn and ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PPT. 
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio. 
  • Experience in Meta Ads. 
  • Paid search experience preferred. 
  • Experience in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and tracking preferred. 
  • Google Ads Certifications preferred. 
  • LinkedIn Ads experience preferred. 
  • Programmatic media buying experience preferred.
